Built in 1942, Manton Dam was Darwin’s first reliable water supply. It is regularly stocked with barramundi fingerlings (babies) by the Department of Primary Industry. Due to the risk of crocodiles, there is no swimming here. Day use area only, no camping.
Turnoff is 10km south of United Petroleum, Acacia, or 14km north of Batchelor turnoff.
