Tjaynera Falls (Sandy Creek Falls)
A bit of a walk, but it's more than a Sandy Creek....
overview
Road Access: 4WD only
Difficulty: 3.4km return walk from Carpark to Sandy Creek Falls, Grade 3 track, steep in parts and rocky at the end.
A very pretty hike 1.7km each way, past a hillside of cycad palms to a sandy beach alongside the well-named, Sandy Creek and finally reaching the vast pool and falls. Reward yourself with a refreshing swim. The walls of the surrounding rock-face reveal millions of years of geological layers.
